Greek seasoning is a blend of sweet herbs with a subtle kick from the addition of chili. Perfect for seasoning traditional greek dishes like gyros, this blend can also be used for salad dressing or to marinate meat. Other classic meals in which these spices and herbs are used include souvlaki (skewers), spanakopita (cheese and spinach pie) and kofta (meatballs). To create a Greek-style hummus, combine 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon Greek seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, lemon juice and 1 can of chickpeas and blend until smooth.
